Hua Hin Guide
		Hua Hin is the oldest and most traditional beach resort in Thailand.
		It has a combination of modern holiday attractions and the charm
		and fascination of an active fishing port. It is an idyllic
		retirement or holiday haven.
		Unlike most other holiday destinations, Hua Hin not only caters
		for foreigners but for Thais alike. Most of the Thai elite that have a
		holiday home have chosen Hua Hin to be their number one port of
		call. Hua Hin has been the most favoured Thai resort over the last
		seventy years.
		Hua Hin not only has a five mile long beach, it also boasts more
		international golf courses than anywhere else in Thailand.
		The green fees are currently amongst the lowest in the world
		Many other recently discovered Thai destinations have
		undergone rapid yet sometimes destructive development, however
		Hua Hin still remains intact for the lucky few to enjoy. It is no
		wonder the Thai Royal Family have made Hua Hin their home.
		King Rama VII discovered the resort in the early 1920's and turned
		it into his ideal getaway from the sultry metropolis of Bangkok.
		The King transformed this tranquil fishing village into the Royal
		Resort. This consequently made it most popular with Siam's
		nobility and upper classes.
		In 1928 King Rama VII built the Klai Klangwon Palace, (meaning -
		far from worries). The Palace still remains here today in all its glory,
		still in use and frequented by members of the Royal Family. It is
		open to the public for visits.
		It was the Resorts Royal endorsement and the true sense of
		historical identity that has given Hua Hin its own special character.
